RE: CAMP GROUND SOFTWARE

We recently finished creating a campground program for a local campground. The one problem the owner had was all of the commercial programs required an assigned site before the reservation could be completed ... ours does not ... http://camp101.desoto.net
The Campground101 program is pretty complete and contains a lot reports, options, etc. The have been using it for about 6 months now and 'love it'
Anyway, another addition to your listings of available programs

RE: Fridge repair/replace question

If you don't plan to boondock then consider replacing the RV fridge with a domestic, home, type unit. Lots of advantages, like quicker cooldown, can actual leave the door open for more than a second, freezes better, etc. Disadvantage ... won't run on 12 volts or gas.
You will find that there are several mobile home type units that will fit almost exactly in place of the existing unit .. GE makes a good one

RE: Headache from Campfire

Thanks all .... interesting ideas, especially the one about the light from the fire, however I have a gas fireplace on my deck at the house and it does not bother me at all .... And, no cigarette smoke is, definitley, not the problem !
Just for the fun of it, and, possibly an alternative, I'm going to try the fake logs to see if that might make a difference... what the heck just a headache - LOL and we love a good campfire, especially this time of year

Headache from Campfire

OK, this is weird .... each and every time we have been to the campground (we keep our RV there) and sat around a campfire, early the next morning ( we're talking 4 am here ) I wake up with a headache .... If no campfire, no headache !
Tried different types of wood, from pine to cedar and it does not seem to make a difference .... strange !
I know it seems crazy but I have been through it several times and there is no doubt that it is the campfire that is causing these ... a real bummer since we all love a good fire and sitting around shooting the bull
Guess I just get to be the stick in the mud !
OK, I've ranted enough ...
