RE: Tub Support

I guess we were lucky with our ROO, never had a problem with the support.

RE: Exterior Shower

We hav an outside shower but have never used it, no little ones. If we had small children I can see that it would be a definite advantage to have. I'm just glad I remember to winterize it every year.

RE: How Long Do Your Tires Last?

First set lasted four years. Working on the second set now.

RE: sportsman space blankets...

I use them as well. I put the silver side out in the summer and the red side out in the cooler temperatures. They do help and are a lot cheaper than PUG's. Hope this helps.

RE: Water pump, Water heater

If the heating element was not covered with water it is shot and will need replaced. I always close the bypass valve when flushing the lines and that by passes the water heater. I always flush and sanitize before each camping trip. Since I always camp where water is available it doesn't take long to fill the water heater but I never turn the element on until water comes out of the relief valve.

RE: Woodalls 2012 Directory

I buy one about every five years. I like to take it with me on trips incase I want to check out different camp grounds in the area I'm visiting at the time. I don't think there are significant changes to warrant buying one every year.

RE: Need help with spare tire

Would like to see a picture of your set up then maybe you will get alot of solutions to your problem. If there are no obstructions the pin should go through or around with a little pressure applied.

RE: Rigid foam from under 09 Roo

Could be that the previous owner wanted to insulate the tank for some cold weather camping. There is nothing above the tanks on our ROO but we ordered the tank heaters when we bought our 236.

RE: First time out with the Htt

Just make sure you child proof your rig. I have read stories of little ones falling out of the beds onto the ground.

RE: Tire Choices - Rank These Tire Brands

Have you ever tried using the search engine to see what has been said in the past? There has been many conversations concerning different tire brands.

RE: Be wary of BEST RV in Turlock California

Sounds like you didn't read the contract very well or inspect the rig before excepting it.Looks like you and the dealer goofed up. Show them that you paid for the battery, get them to install it then go camping and learn from the experience.

RE: Washing my camper

I've used pine sol with great success. Works well on the awning too. They sell waxes for RV's but never bought them so not sure what's involved with that.

RE: Considering buying a lot to put HTT on.

Besides, you are not tied to the spot if you want to hit the road for a few days or weeks. It will always be a place to come back to and park and use as you have the time. my vote is to go for it.

RE: Picked up the trailer... good as new!

It's nice to hear that they stand behind their product. All manufacturers can have costruction problems, it;s what they do about it that counts.

RE: gut and redo? 2000 Fleetwood prowler hybrid

Sounds like someone should have paid you. Anyway, I think I would star by trying to seal all possible leak areas first then work on the bad places in the floor. I doubt if any studding will need replaced but I would use treated lumber any where a repair was needed. A major concern should be mold. Any place that has water damage and is in a confined space will be suspect. Good luck with your project and give us a progress report from time to time and let us know how things are going.

RE: Help me shake this feeling of dread

You can cross the street tomorrow morning and get hit by a car. You can't live with "what if". As everyone said: If you have the vehicle to pull that camper..... if you have a brake system...... if you have the equalizer, you won't feel that camper behind your vehicle. You don't want to lock yourself in your bedroom or your kids in their bedrooms in fear of something that might happen !!!! Enjoy life to the fullest and have fun. Here's a saying that's always been with me: Yesterday is History Tomorrow is Mystery Today is a GIFT...that's why it's call the PRESENT Have fun and HAPPY CAMPING Dre What he said!

RE: Toaster oven

We have had two toaster ovens. The first we had to run a 20 amp cord to the box outside. The second we are able to plug into the outlet in the kitchen without issues. We don't use ours often but when we do we like the results. I might add that we went to big lots and bought a small cart that we stick the toaster oven on while we camp. When traveling we set it on the floor as not to damage.

RE: Tornado Watch!

We had three tornado warnings to get through and luckily most of the severe weather went north and south of us each time. Our only thought was with those who did not fair so well. We have a storm shelter and a couple of neighbors were invited to share with us and were glad they accepted. All is well in Crawford.
