RE: Flame Meter Quit Working

Thanks Chris. The situation is that the whole unit will have to be slid forward to see/test anything. We are leaving Tuesday, so I'm not touching anything until we get back.
I would rather have it working and not know it, than to have it not working and know it.

RE: Generators

When boondocking and noise is not an issue I use the Champion. If I know that I will be in campgrounds with neighbors, I always carry and use the Honda 2000.

RE: Flame Meter Quit Working

I guess that no one has experienced this??
Could use one of these guys in the tow vehicle forum...
I do not know what a tow vehicle has to do with a refrigerator?

Flame Meter Quit Working

The flame meter quit working on our Norcold N300 refrigerator. Hold the button in, click the igniter, the burner lights, release the button and it stays lit. The thermocouple is holding the gas valve open OK. Just no flame meter and thus no indicator that the burner is actually lit.
It has been a year since the refrigerator has been used and all was OK then.

RE: Reviewing the new Ford 6.2 Gasser carrying the TC

nycsteve , I know that you said that the truck is used almost exclusively to carry the truck camper, but have you used it without the truck camper? If so, what were your mileage figures?

RE: Do you clean the bugs off the front of your cabover?

Westley's tire cleaner will melt them off.
