RE: Stable loads on a Dodge 3500

Not sure if this info is pertinant to the thread but for what its worth, I'm running homemade 2" spacers with the original bumpstops on my 05 similar to what other folks have posted, also ride rites at 30 psi loaded and with a roadmaster sway bar. Still running the original shocks. My truck came equiped with two overload leafs. This combination has proved to be excellent. I do not experience any sway or bouncing and with the usual crosswinds in this area it is still a two fingered steering operation ( if I want to steer with 2 fingers:). )

RE: San Juan ATV Safari

Thanks for the link, looks like a great area to do some exploring.Would be nice to try some new trails. I don't think time will permit this year but I have it bookmarked and maybe next year will work. Only 327 days until retirement but who's counting...

RE: Question

I guess I have to add my 2 cents worth. I have no axe to grind with Beddows or NATCOA but want to let Brad and other moderators know that I feel they have been doing an excellent job on this forum . I have always been treated with respect and courtesy on this forum and the knowledge I have gained here has been second to no other forum including NATCOA . The bottom line as I see it is life is a matter of choices, if you choose not to follow the rules then you should expect to pay the penalty.

RE: Bill of sale?

You should be able to google up a sample or even the actual form used in your state. I have done that in the past, just ask for " bill of sale for N.C." Hope this helps..

RE: Happijac lubrication

Great job on both the explanation and the pics, THANKS. Just printed off a hard copy of your report and will put it in my manuals binder just in case. I was wondering what type of lube hapijac recommends to use ? I can't tell from pics other than it appears to be a white grease but is it a extreme pressure type or synthetic or ?

RE: TorkLift International : Great Customer Service

Yep, They are one of the best companies I have ever dealt with, I was inquiring about what I needed for rear tie downs after I installed my super hitch. Was asked how the installation of the super hitch went and I noted there had been one minor problem which I had rectified. They were very concerned and requested the packaging date etc from the carton. I received a package a few days later with torklift goodies in it. This was definitely beyond what I have come to expect from suppliers. In my opinion their products are second to none.

RE: Adjustable Torklift tiedowns for running boards

I have 05 dodge QC DRW 4x4 with running boards as well which were installed when purchased new. I did not realize there were different tork lift tie downs available for boards. I Just notched out the edges of the running boards for about 3" on each side where the tie downs come out. Was not a big deal and looks ok. pm me for email pics if you need them.

RE: Dirty caulk!!!

I found spray nine to work well, just sprayed it on and wiped off with paper towel. I wouldn't leave it on for any lenght of time as it may remove the caulking .
