RE: Recommendations for north Georgia

Most camp grounds will spot your camper just before you arrive, so you can use it, and you can rent the spot for the year and leave your camper on the spot, are have it put in storage till you come back, anyway saves on pulling it back and forth from camp to home,

RE: Leaving a 5'er or trailer in Az storage over the summer

The sun and the temperature is really bad on a camper sitting out in it, be sure to put lots of gallon jugs of water in the RV when you leave, my Mother left hers out their for 20 years, it was almost white from the sun on it, also the dust blowing out their can get in everything, so be sure to tape the windows and the top vents to stop the dust coming in,the rubber molding around the windows will also
dry up and shrink, it can be done but it is hard on a camper in that heat ,,,,,,,

If it is the oval piece of yellow plastic you are talking about, you just cup and slide it in the aluminum groove,

That will be a simple fix for a welding shop, looks like it bottomed out from hitting a wash out in the road somewhere, I could fix that myself, if I had time, ha ha,,,,,,

RE: Screen door mod

They make a carbide cutter to score it with and snap it off, a table saw also works, I am afraid a jig saw with crack it unless you go really slow,

RE: Receptacle fuse?

In your breaker box you have 2 electrical systems 12 volt and 120 volt
the 12 volt runs the lights, water pump, exhaust fan, radio, they are fused by a 12 volt blade type fuse,
the 120 side of the fuse box is for AC, plug ins, they are controlled by house type breakers, be sure to trip them off and back on several times to reset them, they can get to hot and need replacing once in awhile, but usually they can be reset,

RE: Black water tank in Camp driveway

Just go to the RV store or to Wall-Marts and get some waste tank chemicals and have a Milk jug of water by the toilet to flush with, and don't worry about it, you will never fill the holding tank up, and it will be fine, that is what it is their for,,,,,,

RE: Black water tank in Camp driveway

I would just use a about a pint of water to flush down the Pee, kind of wash down the whole inside of the toilet, if going to be awhile till you dump maybe some chemical from Wally World, to keep the smell down, you could dump it in a 5 gallon bucket and flush down your toilet in the house also,
