RE: Automatic Transfer Switch

Just trace your shore power cable to the RV. Then look inside and see where it goes. It will end at the ATS as will the cable from the generator.

RE: Selecting Resort

Why not give up on the idea of a "Resort Park" and camp out with the thousands on the BLM. Cheep (or free). No close neighbors unless you want one. Beautiful desert surroundings.

RE: Sunbelt, AOR and ACN

In order to use Sunbelt, AOR and ACN you have to have a "HOME" park that will let you join these networks. Will your present home park for C2C let you join? Not only will there be yearly dues, you most likely have to pay a fee to join. I can understand you wanting to move around, but check each network and see if there are parks in the area you want to visit.
Another option is a Zone Pass from Thousand Trails. $499 for one zone. Just recently they had a buy one, get one free. 30 days free camping, then $3 per night. Stay 14 nights, out 7, then reenter.

RE: generator to run A/C

It would help a lot if we knew the size of your air conditioner. Some smaller ones can be run of a 2000 watt unit. Bigger ones take more.

RE: Suggestions - Local Places to Eat in Wellsboro, PA Vicinity?

For a novel place to grab a bite, try the Frog Hut.
I think The 'Bug' Family will like it.

RE: Towing a Jeep Question (Newbie)

Yes, you can tow it 4 down without any modification. Transfer case in Neutral, Transmission in Park. I even think that the 2012 does not have the steering wheel lock. Check the Manuel. The Wrangler is a great toad.

RE: Help with Norcold 1210 recall parts

I was told by the tech that did my recall that if it shut down the unit, that I would have to contact Norcold to get a new one installed. Stated something about Norcold keeping a record of the installs.
Might want to call a service facility in your area and see if it can be replaced.

RE: On the Road Income

Can't tell what the wife and I make and sell.(Trying to keep down the competition) A lot of the CG's that we visit have "craft" sales. Maybe weekly or less often. Visit one and see what people are buying. The right items sell!!! If you have a hobby or handy making thing, you should find something that sells.

RE: Transfer switch

I would think that if you followed your shore cable to the compartment that it enters and look inside, it will in fact go into the transfer switch. Also the cable from the generator will be there.

A lot of us fulltimers have our jacks down for months at a time with no problems. I would think that yours in storage would be no different.
