RE: winnebago side mirrors

Guy's I was thinking more on the left side being moved to the front corner like the right side. It is the driver side that is put on the side instead of out front.
Like I said earlier not a big deal just wondering. We are trying to make the decision to leave the fiver and go to the MH. we want something to hop and skip around in without a lot of set up hassels.

RE: winnebago side mirrors

I wouldn't make my decision solely on the mirror's, just could not see the reasoning for the placement.

winnebago side mirrors

Winnebago diesel pusher owners, Could someone explain to me why Winnebago offsets the side mirrors on the diesels? On the drivers side the mirror is on the side and the passenger side the mirror is on the front corner. I have driven a truck for 34 years and for the life of me I can not see the benefit. The left side should be on the corner also, because you get accustomed to looking at the same place on both sides. the front gas engine model's do not do this. we have been looking at purchasing a motor home, but by the look from the front on the winne is turning me towards other brands.
Thanks, if you can answer this.

Rear Engine Gas

Is there anyone on here that has purchased, or has talked to anyone with the rear engine gas pusher? I am curious to see if fuel mileage is better of worst than the front engine.
seems Winnebago is about the only company that uses the workhorse rear gas.
