Pickup based Class C

Could anyone tell me the manufacturers of some pickup based Class C's. I find the van cab very uncomfortable.

RE: I'm depressed

It doesn't matter. The person who "bought" the trailer called two minutes before they were doe to arrive and told me that they no longer wanted the trailer. My DW and I have decided that we will keep the TT a few more years, pay off what ever debt we have. Then we will go out and create some new debt in the form of a luxury RV. Some things weren't meant to be. I have finally come to terms that someone upstairs is trying to tell me to stop and think. So after a Labor day weekend of pure funk, I feeling better.

RE: I'm depressed

I let the DW read the thread and she agreed to go to the dealer this weekend. BTW, I wear the pants in the family, but she washes them. Without her I would smell. We are a team and we make all decisions together. Divorce is out of the question, but a large bottle of chloroform is under the seat of the TV. Now I also have to give the DW a monthly stipend (25.00), a larger diamond ring, and a new car. Hon, if you are reading this I was only kidding about me wearing the pants. I promise to get to the honey do list as soon as I finish clearing the table and making the kids' lunch for school tomorrow.:)

I'm depressed

Just sold my travel trailer with the intention of ordering a Jayco Designer. Today, the darling wife freaked and now says that the 38' Jayco is too big. I'm crushed. While right now I have not said a thing to her in fear that I will say the wrong thing, I am Peeved! How can I convince this woman? She thinks I won't be able to put the FW in the driveway. I have no problem putting my 32' TT there. i explained that the 5er would tow at about the same length. She is not convinced. She thinks the 5er is too tall. I explained that the wires in the neighborhood are well above the 13'2" height of the trailer. What is so upsetting is the fact is that I currently have no RV. We both love the Designer, she is just nervous. This pretty much happens every time we buy a high priced item. I thought we had it worked out before selling the TT. Talk about communication!! UGH!!

Help! - RV storage on Long Island

Hi all, I'm looking for help in finding RV storage on LI. I will have a 38' FW that I would need to store year round. Anyone have property that would like to make some spare change? Where do you keep your RV?

Any problems with length and height??

Buying a 38' fiver and was wondering if anyone has had any problems with length and a 13'2" hieght. Please let me hear your stories. We are about to order the unit and the DW did not sleep last night in fear of us no being able to go down our street and back into our driveway due to the telephone/electric wires. I tried to reassure her sayiong that wires are supposed to be installed at 14' from the ground to allow Tractor Trailers to travel the road. Also we saw the video of the fiver pulling down the gas station roof, is that something that is common, low roofs on gas stations? I will be visiting alot of stations due to my TV being a gasser. Are there any overwhelming problems with the length at CGs? The fiver should be about the same length towing as my 30' TT. My hitch is about 1' from my rear bumper and having the fiver in the middle of the 8' bed should work out to the same length. Sorry for the long post, just so many questions that need answers before the the final sales agreement.

RE: Tow Buddy blows fuse

Thanks for all the input. I will advise my friend to run an outlet straight from the battery.

Is a second AC necessary?

Hi all, Just sold my TT. I am ordering a Jayco Designer Fifth wheel. It come sandard with a 15k ducted AC. A second bedroom 13k AC is a option. Is the second AC necessary? I do like it cool. The fifth is 38' long. I'm not sure if I want the added hieght. I do plan to go south. Don

Tow Buddy blows fuse

My Friend has a tow buddy that he uses in his 2006 Malibu. When he plugs it into the cigarette lighter and presses the test button, the fuse blows. He has replaced the fuse with higher amp ratings with the same results. it did work last season when it was new, but this year it hasn't worked at all. BTW, other electrical items will work when plugged into the lighter socket. Could anyone offer some tips?

RE: Black Tank Quit Draining

Sorry just looked at your pic more closely and see that you do use a clear connector.

RE: Black Tank Quit Draining

Fotodan, You could also use a clear connector on the valve with the altered cap on the end. That way you can se when that clog releases. BTW, the flush king has been one of my most prized CW purchases! Saved me from several situations like yours. My sons seem to have a problem with using a reasonable aomount of TP.

RE: 2010 Jayco Designer 35rlsa

I am fully aware of RV Direct. I can pick up at their Albany Facility. I actually got a better price from Campers Barn, which another large store in NY. They will also give me more for the trade as well. I still have to convince the DW though. Hence the questions on reliablity and craftsmanship. I still have yet to see an RLSA in person. I have looked at all the other floorplans, but the RLSA was sold and there wasn't another in stock.

CRUZ, I can't believe how much damage the dealer did to your FW. You trust them to repair all that! I'd be pretty PO'ed.

2010 Jayco Designer 35rlsa

Thinking of getting the Jayco Designer 35RLSA. Anybody have the Designer series FW? How do you like it? How is Jayco quality? Any thoughts and experiences welcome.

You have to jump the pig tail. I will try to find a diagram to make it easy.
