I don't normally do this, but since this is for my big sister, I am making an exception. The moral of this story is, watch what you ask for.
As many of you know, we have moved to Fayetteville NC over the summer. To save a few $$ I've been using the for sale lot on Ft Bragg to store the 5er. Mainly to save $15/mo. Over the past few months I've had a few calls but didn't think much of it.Well, to make a long story short, we've sold the 5er and truck.We didn't think it would happen and we didn't put any effort in it.
We are not sure what type of camping we'll do in the future and we have no plans on buying another rv anytime soon. We will keep an eye on the threads and if we are in town while a rally is scheduled we'll stop by. If anyone is in our neighborhood give us a call. Good luck and good camping.
Sorry to hear you sold the 5er, but glad things worked out. Had I been in your situation I'd probably done the same thing. You are always welcome to show up anytime, at a rally or our home. I doubt I'll ever forget you guys showing up at the very first rally at Baylor Beach. Tonya scared of what you had gotten her into and you bringing some old furniture to add to the campfire. :B:B:B We thank you for your service to our country and our prayers go out to you.

Sittin here watching Travel Channel on TV. This is the episode that takes place at the Mansfield reformatory. Spooky watching the places where we just visited and seeing what goes on there with ghosts and such. Creepy!!

Got a NA-NA call from Ken about an hour ago. Just called to tell me it was sunny and 85. They were checking into the CG at the time. I was amazed that as soon as they said they were going to Fla, hurricane Ida rolled in. Kathy's rain queen status preceeded her, I think.

Just to keep everyone updated....Ohio State Parks are updating all the information and campsites. They said it would take about two more weeks. Once that is done they will start taking reservation for next year. (still 6 months out) I will keep everyone informed. Kathy and I will give you the site numbers very soon.
Sounds like a road trip is in order.

Hi Terry.
Just go to page 1 of this thread and look for the campground where the event is being held. Contact them and make your reservations. Be sure you tell them you are with the Ohio Rally Group. Then come back here and tell us you're coming and what site number you've been assigned. Keep track of this thread as updates and such will be posted here. Page 1 is the place for most of the info.

Robin - hope you feel much better today.
Maybe you all could freeze all the leftovers from this rally and just thaw it out for the Christmas Party. By the way, what's the date for the Christmas Party?
And my last thought of the day; We will be watching the Bengals at the Superbowl :C .
Christmas Party is Dec 12th.
Date for the Christmas party is specific, is the place?? Has anyone talked to Duane about the free hall we could use?
At this point in time the party is still at our house. Further discussion can continue this w/e.
Not everyone is able to attend this rally. Why can't we discuss it here?
