For the math and engineering gurus

A flat table surface is 12 feet long from point a to point b . An object is launched from point a at a 45 degree angle and lands on point b. How high is the object from the surface of the table when it is midway of the table (or six feet from point a)?
thanks

RE: Tire Question

gmachine that makes sense along with sub standard tires. Who makes an LT in a 15 inch tire that has the weight load bearing?

RE: Tire Question

Better tires is the answer I'm sure. Mine didn't blow. Tread seperated, sidewalls still there and tire still has 65 lbs of air in it. I ran probably 1 mile like that after another motorist pulled beside us and told us of the rubber flying and it still didn't blow. Just the center tread flew apart.

Tire Question

I had a tire separation (Carlisle) on my way home from Miss and while searching the forums for different views and opinions I read something I never could find again. One post said most of the folks bashing Carlisle were owners of large fivers and the problem was almost always on the rear axle. My question is what is the significance of the "rear" axle comment? My tire was on the rear axle on the passenger side.
