RE: Safety in CG's

Thank for all the replies. I've camped thruout the West for many moons & never had any problems. In the deep South there are some pretty desparate homeless people as a result of the economy & natrural disasters, & property crime is on the rise. y'all take care, Dave, the hobo,Cassidy

Safety in CG's

Will be leaving for the West mid June & was wondering if there are any problems in State/ Nat. Parks in Co.,Ut & Nv.& Az, as a result of the economy. My main concern is if breakins in unattended rigs seem to be on the rise? Like many folks, we leave our rig for several hrs. during the day while we explore the area, & outside of locking up have no additional security. Have stayed many X's in the past in these areas without problems. Just wonderiing about currant conditions. Thanks, the hobo

RE: TRADEWINDS RV PARK

Sorry about that.:( i should've been more specific.......... How do you like the park? How wide are the spaces? Good space between sites? Clean restrooms? Easy access to the sites? Is the park crowded? I understand there is no cable TV there. Can local channels be accesed with an antenna? That's about it. Thanks for your response, Dave C

RE: Almost ready for Benson, AZ

Why would you want to spend the winter in Benson,AZ? I have been there 3 times for a week at a time, and can't see any reason to stay any longer. Hobo THIS HOBO & Betty love the BENSON, AZ area. Why? Fits our lifestyle. Uncrowded & wide open spaces. Can get cool @ night, but usually warms up nicely in the daytime. We've stayed @ the BUTTERFIELD RESORT & used that as a base camp for touring & tent camping on BLM lands on our motorcycle. My family & me moved to Az. in 1948,& over the yrs. lived in Phoenix, Tucson & Yuma. We now live in Virginia & have for the last 45 yrs., but i have to get back to Az. @ least every 3-4 yrs.. we like Southern Az,Tucson/Benson area in the Winter & Northern Az, Showlow, Payson, Hannigans Meadow in the Summer. It may not be for everybody, but it suits us just fine.......... I'm Dave, the hobo,Cassidy & I approve this msg
