RE: Looking for info on hwy 7 to 72 south out of Estes Park, CO

P to P is a fine road, You will have no problem pulling your trailer down to I-70. Enjoy the scenery !

RE: What is your favorite pass in Colorado?

Colorado Hwy 14, from Laporte to Walden. Because it takes me along one of my favorite fishing streams- The Cache La Poudre River. Shhhhhh, not so loud..;)

RE: Positioning or moving small trailer with ATV

My concern would be brakes. If the TT is not plugged into a normal TV, then the trailer brakes would not work. If there is any slope at all, then the trailer could get away from you and drag the ATV with it. In stead of right on the lake , you could end up right in the lake. Just being cautious. This !

RE: To take 4-wheeler or not?

If you are going to be in campgrounds all the time, I would not take it. If you are going to be somewhere you know you can ride it some and if you got the room, I would take it along. Is that it under the cover in front of the suv?

Gas Tank making noise.

I thought i read about it once before, but I could not find the topic. My first time with an on board gas tank, I can hear the tank popping wile it expands and contracts while I am running the generator or with temp changes. IS this normal? Should there be some kind of venting? When I open up the gas cap you can hear the pressure being released and the tank expanding.

RE: Battery Powered Fan?

Do not believe tyme4toplay has house batteries in the tent. I would think they should run 4-6 hours or so, long enough to fall asleep and the batteries die off in the middle of the night.

RE: Best built toy hauler?

A few others are the Keystone Fuzion 300 and 301. The Raptor 30FS, and KZ - mxt301 and 302.

RE: Experiences with small Sportsman, Springdale

We had a KZ sportsmen toy hauler for about 8 years. Very well built trailer. You will have a hard time finding anyone to say anything bad about KZ. We just traded it in on a Keystone trailer (Fuzion) hopefully it serves us as well at the KZ did.

RE: kzrv toy hauler

ON my 02 KZ sporstmen, it had a sticker inside the kitchen cabinet showing weights. Does it have 2 water fill locations? If so, you probably have 2 - 55 gallon fresh tanks. I had a 30 gallon grey and a 30 gallon black in mine. If that helps any. Mine was a model 26.( 27 foot box front sleeper - bumper pull.)

RE: What Size Electric Trailer Jack

I use a 3500 for my 10k GVWR trailer. The bigger the better IMO This ... Just bought a Barker 3500 for 219 shipped to my home off of e-bay. Mantelli's out of new york.

RE: Booking Campsites

Actually, along the Front Range in Colorado it is just about exactly as you folks describe. You will have a hard time getting a campsite at the popular state parks and national parks and forests during the summer without a reservation. dKuntz, let me know when and where you are thinking about and I will try to give you some ideas. Miles Agreed, you are going to have a hard time here finding anything last minute at a campground for the big weekends. Best bet is national forest dispersed camping, and even then you need to a long way away from the urban corridor (I-25)

RE: Happy Friday - Who's going where?

Going with a group of folks riding Saturday above Central City Colorado, should be fun and I'm looking forward to it. Have fun, should still be some good snow in places to have fun in.
