Full Member Joined: 09/21/2002 View Profile Offline Posted: 07/19/03 01:18pm Link  |  Print  |  Notify Moderator Need some advice---My sat. hook-up(roof mount Winegard) has worked great in the past---it now refuses to send the signal from the roof to the receiver. I have run a cable from my house(no wheels) dish to the roof connection(motorhome) and the signal comes in at 94 percent. So apparently the cable is OK. I also took the transponder off the roof and used it on the house set-up and that woorked fine. Next I tried another transponder(that I knew was good) on the roof mount---still no signal. Perhaps if is just the F connector on one end is not making proper contact... If not the cable may be open. Put a short cable one on the reciver and do the same test.
