We are headed to the RV.net rally at Frankenmuth in June, 2004. By our sig. you can see we have three little ones we are taking along. Hope to see some others with kids in tow join us. They make friends where ever we go, but would be nice to have some that we know will be there and maybe plan some activities for them as well.
Our oldest, Nick likes to ride bike, explore for new creatures, and play cards. Jack the 4 y.o. likes to play in the dirt with Tonka trucks, etc., and little Emma just likes whatever!
Hope there are some of you that will make the trip. We hesitated to go to previous rallys because of the little ones, but will not miss out on going to Michigan.

The back of my new loves Honda Element
or...
On the ground with a $14.95 tarp from Pepboys over us.
Either way, we love the outdoors.

hey nick! dont know if we'll be making Frankenmuth , but I agree, I would like to see more family camping outings planned with kids! , maybe we'll meet on the road somewhere, have fun, Jerry

What's the date? I missed the last one in Frankenmuth, but if the date chosen for this summer does not cause a conflict with child visitation, and if the Bagman will be there, then myself, my boys and my fiancé will be there for sure. But if it falls on a weekend when either my ex has the boys, whom I have custody of, or if it's my weekend to have my daughter, whom my ex has, then I'll have to miss it again. So, please keep us informed as to the date that the rally is planned for. If someone would be kind enough to either private-message me, or e-mail me with the info, I'd be grateful. Thanks, and fingers crossed!

Oops, never mind, just saw the dates in the General RVing issues section. I won't know until a couple weeks beforehand as the visitation weekends sometimes, due to logistics, get re-arranged as my ex lives 335 miles away from me (I like THAT part, but it stinks that my daughter is also with her). So, hopefully I should be able to make it, even if I have to re-arrange the weekend myself. I'll just tell her now I have plans for that weekend.

we are signed up to go also. I have a 10 yr old daughter and 11 year old son. They would love the company of a few younger friends. They love to ride their bikes. Play people fishing.( you will find out at the rally). But the thing that makes the biggest splash is my 11 year old's electric remote control car. YuGiO cards are the big hit with most boys this age. We love to camp, and spend most of our time in michigan camping in the fall (sept-nov) and spring (april-may).
We are looking forward to the rally and meeting some Rv/internet enthusisits.

Just signed up...we have 2 kids. In June Emma will be 7½ and Max will be 4.
This is our FIRST-ever rally so we are looking forward to it. We don't know what we're in for, ignorance is bliss?
Going to try to think up something for the potluck, any suggestions anyone?
