this is citation 18,i am the writer of that warning for atwood water heater fire in wires.
please if capital letters offend you am sorry, but this was intentional to get everybody attention on the subjet at hand..
they invented capital letters not only for capital word, but also to get someone attention or for people that need a new pair of glasses.
so please people, this is not an essaie in school, but a warning to all responsable people in the rv business,it's about time we the rvers start fighting back those company, that use us for testing there products at our expenses.
we pay so much money for those units and have little garanties or none in return.
it's about time we start telling them to get with it,and start giving us good and reliable products with a decent garanty.
happy motoring to all.

I take it then the water heater you're talking about isn't the same model that Atwood has been producing for apx the last 20 years. The model number of this "new" water heater would be helpful.
I'm also amazed that the UL lab's which tests electrical products before marketing missed such a blattant attempt at a company trying to deliberately put out faulty products in the thousands of unit quantities.

IMHO this would have been better put as a reply to the original topic rather than an attention seeking new thread.

Citation 18. I don't really think people were chastizing you because of poor grammar or english. In the computer world using all capital letters is the same as shouting in someone's face when you are talking to them. All capitals is not easier to read for these poor old eyes, in fact ot hurts my eyes to try to sort all the letters out. Thanks for the warning and really you should not be so quick to take offense.

Capital letters really bug me when I'm trying to read a daily weather forecast from noaa. Why do they think a weather report needs to be shouted ??

I didn't feel citation18 was shouting at me, I felt he was shouting TO me. Shouting a warning to me and other fellow RV'rs. Etiquette Shmetiquette. Thanks citation18.

'Online etiquette...shouting...' what a bunch of baloney. Who made these 'rules'. Use ALL CAPITALS IF YOU WISH, it doesn't bother me any. Like someone said, some people need to get a LIFE!
