Does anyone have any good or bad experiences there? Do you suggest staying somewhere else? What about the weather in February or March?

The weather should be good in March or April. I stayed at Circus-Circus last year and was not too thrilled with it. It is a big parking lot with hook-ups. I didn't know of any other place close to the strip so it worked for us. If you have a vehicle to drive try the Oasis.

Ugly but close to action......There is a Sam's Club, not the same as Sam Association, whatever, but most have shuttles to Casino row. Go on line, there is another one but I haven't stayed there, but have seen good reviews on this forum......

Circus-Circus RV Park brings back memories - stayed there a week in 1985 and got married in the casino chapel. After 3rd night was asked to move back to the "doggie area" even though our doberman was strictly an RV trained dog and never out without a leash for walks and her "business" in the doggie area, of course.

I've read on here recently that KOA has taken over the RV park if that matters.....

have you checked out the new RV.net Blogs yet?

We stayed at Circus Circus during this past November. It IS a paved park - however, we didn't go to Vegas or stay at Circus Circus to BBQ or sit under the awning. Its close to the action and we used our Jeep to travel further out to the Strip. If you know what you are going to get for your money - it's fine. We stayed six nights - cost $80.00. Have a good time no matter where you stay.

We've stayed there a few times, and yes it is like a parking lot. But like another poster said, I didn't go to LV to sit out and BBQ.
Here's something to think of however. You better make reservations early if you're going in March. Believe it or not, the place is packed with people coming there during spring break with the kids.
Be prepared for the rates to go up between now and then. The park is becoming a KOA, and if they do like they did at Silverton Casino RV park, their rates went up about 50-75% with no change in service.

I agree with other poster that Circus Circus is just a parking lot and that is fine with me. We just use it as a base to enjoy all the things to do in Las Vegas. Most convenient CG in Vegas if you want to be on the strip. They have a nice pool, campground store and laundry area.

Another poster stated he paid $80 for six nights. Those days are gone now that KOA is running the CG. I called last week and was told the rates are now $28/night during week and higher on weekend. I would advise you to try and get a special rate if at all possible. Guess I will have to find another place to stay.

Good luck.

Stay at Oasis exit Blue Diamond Hwy off of I-15. Also across I-15 there is a KOA at Silverton Casino. And if hi rent does not bother you there is Outdoor Resorts also @ Blue Diamond off ramp. Oasis has a shuttle to the strip.

jaxd.....the KOA franchise moved to Circus.
There was a thread the other day that the campground at Silverton Casino/RV Park is going to become the newest Bass Pro Shop.
