I do not see many posts about the Coachman fifth wheel on the forum, Is this good or bad? How is the quality of a Coachman fifth wheel?

I bought a used'99 Coachman Catalina lite 259Rk and use it as an office when not traveling/camping. Other then the right fender skirt breaking in -0 temps it has been nearly maintenance free. I like it lots and think it is a shame that it was discontinued in 2000. The water pump was replaced by the dealer before delivery at no cost. I have put 10k miles on it the last two years. I have read horror stories but this one has been super!

Well I have had 2 Coachman Fifth wheels. I now have a 2001 and we just love it. Had very little to go wrong and what did they bent over backwards to fix.

My RV dealer called today. Our new Coachman Somerset Dream Catcher 299RKS arrived from the factory this morning. Since I was away today, I only got to see the exterior earlier tonight. Its gorgious!!! We'll give him a few days to spiff it up before we take the grand tour. From my past experience with Coachman products, I'm expecting all the best. Stay tuned!

. I bought a new 1998 Coachmen Prospera, 31 footer with the rear kitchen. It looked great, towed great and never had a bit if trouble. Coachmen has been around a long time and the workmanship it had was very good. I sold the Coachmen when I got the MH in 2000 (A REAL mistake!).
I now own an Alfa due to having one before and liked the floorplan better than what Coachmen had available when I bought in 2003. I think Alfa is better with their warranty, but if I had to buy a Coachmen because Alfa was not around, I'd do it in a heart beat. Happy 5-ing.
