Well, we don't give a damn. However, if you are talking about the Hoover Dam, then...

i've never stayed in any rv parks out that way, but Boulder City has at least 2 or 3. That is the closest town, only a few miles from the dam. There are some casinos between the town and the dam and you might be able to park in one of their parking lots.

do a search on the net for boulder city nv. rv campgrounds and you will get the names and phone numbers.

Dont plan on driving your RV across Hoover Dam. As far as I know it is still closed to truck and RV traffic

I agree, I think the dam is closed to RV amd truck traffic during construction.

Boulder should have several camp grounds, sams town is not to far away.

laughlin is not that far either, riverside casnio has an rv park.

You can call (888) 248-1259 to get a recording of the latest Hoover Dam restrictions. Sounds like RVs are okay for now but they have to be inspected.

robbieca2 is correct -- you can drive your RV across the dam, but it may (probably will) be inspected.

We drove along the top of the dam in late January 2004, just a few weeks ago. You will have to stop for a full inspection inside and underneath your vehicle. Also, expect construction delays for the new bridge that will cross the canyon and is scheduled to open in late 2007.

You are correct that they did stop travel over the dam immediately after 9/11. The last two years we traveled through Laughlin.
