We really liked the Sea Breeze a few years ago. I have nothing not very many negative things about National. The Sea Breeze is a little more pocket friendly than the Dolphin. If price isn't that big of a factor between the two, I would go for the Dolphin. It looks nicer and I think the interior is a little more fancier. When we bought our motorhome and few months back, we looked at the Sea Breeze but the Flair had it all like two slides, and most of all the price. Good luck with your decision.

Tom:
We have had our 5342 Dolphin (2003 model) since August of 2002. I think it was one of the earlier units off the line. We have had a few minor bugs to work out and we have put 15,000 miles on it. We really like the layout and all of the amenities. I think they are fairly well made with good quality cabinets and hardware. We also really like the exterior appearance. I think if you spend some time really looking at the difference in detail between the Sea Breeze and the Dolphin you will see what the difference in price buys, and if it is personally worth it for you. Good luck.

I traded a 2003 Fleetwood Flair 30H, no slides on my 2004 Seabreese LX.
My wife and I love the floor plan. I love the Workhorse chassis and the GM 8.1 / Allison combination. The Seabreese is well build and handles great. The price was OK. National builds a nice RV. You won't go wrong with either.
Good Luck and happy, safe travels.

We have a 2004 Dolphin LX 6342. It cost a little more but had a lot to offer in extras. You buy a motor home for pleasure, so buy the one that makes you happy. A friend always said a nickel more you can go first class. You will be very pleased with any National product.

Tough choice, but if you have the $$$, I'd go with the Dolphin LX, especially if you can wait for the Workhorse W-24 chassis model to come out. Otherwise, IMHO, they're both fine choices.
We bought the Sea Breeze LX because we didn't want to spend the extra cash. However, we do miss one Dolphin feature. Dolphins have a rear window & the Sea Breezes do not. Not a big deal, but I think that extra window makes the bedroom more habitable.
Also, there's a 600 Watt inverter option that is nice to have. However, if you're handy, skip the option & install a 2000 Watt inverter/charger and add two additional 6V house batteries (so you end up with 4).
Besides that, just watch the CCC on both models. The current triple-slide units have very little.

Tom, we had a 2003 Sea Breeze before we purchased our new coach. My wife LOVED the floor plan and it was well built. We received excellent service from our dealer and National. I would have been happier with the coach if I would have had the workhorse chassis, because we tow a trailer with an SUV on it and it had to work pretty hard getting up the mountains. If I could have gotten the price I wanted on a National DP, I would still be driving a National product.
Pick the coach you like and enjoy your travels.

I don’t know how big you are but let me tell you what happened to me
We were looking for a new coach and fell in love with the Dolphin LX
It had every thing we wanted. Had the salesman on board ran in the slides Ready for a test drive and discovered that I could not get behind the steering Wheel to drive it. There simply was not enough room with the seat as far back as it would go for me to get in the drivers seat. I’m 6’6 and weigh 265. This was on the W22 workhorse chassis.
Good luck Jess
