I have State Farm insurance for all my vechiles. I have attempted to get insurance for my new Mobile Suite 36ck3 and State Farm quoted $686 dollars for L500J broadened comp insurance with replacement coverage for the trailer, seems pretty high. This coverage will cover the deductible if I am not at fault if any damage. I phoned the camping world insurance plan and asked for the same coverage and was quoted $434 with GMAC insurance. Anyone have any history with GMAC as State Farm has been good to me in the past with any claims but do not want to pay extra if I can get the same service. Also if any other trailer Insurance companies are Known then all advice appreciated

I had State Farm for 30 years and switched to ITT Hartford which you have to be an AARP member to get.Total bill for house pu truck, car and travel trailer went from about 1200 per year to about 800 per year. I also checked about 5 other companies but ITT hartford was the lowest. I dont think they insure full timers however'

I have GMAC ins have not had a problem with them. But they charge me $770.00 for my 5th wheel a year and I have a clean record. I have been checking around and i am getting qoutes of around $350.00 a year with full replacement. So I may have to look at changing companys

I have Geico and the 5TH insurance is $220 annually. The coverage of the tow vehicle covers the 5th when towing. The regular coverage is when parked anywhere. I pay $1440 every 6 months to insure the 2003 Alfa, 2004 Dodge truck and 2004 Caddy. Sounds good to me. It is cheaper than Camping World had before they changed over a year ago. Happy 5-ing.

We are with Farmers Insurance here in California. Our fifth wheel is covered as a rider on our truck insurance policy. It cost us about $80.00 a year and includes fair market value replacement if it is totaled. We would refer to NADA for fair market value.

I had Camping World auto insurance for years. When they changed to GMAC, my rate quote skyrocketed! I turned to this forum for help and one of the companies suggested was Farmers Insurance. I applied with them (as well as others) and their coverage was great and the premium was less than I had paid with Camping World. I have complete coverage with Farmers now as well as homeowner's policy which has no hurricane deductible!
Good luck with your choice.
