We went to Walmart ang bought a bag of used balls 30 for $9.99 - Bob drilled them out.. and I painted them with acrylic paint then sprayed with clear to get a variety of Sets of different coloirs We used 1.2 " nylon rope--and hot glue..worked great

My in-laws, who are from Texas (but are never there, always out in their Fifth wheel!) called it Polish Horseshoes and I just can't get over the name, although I like the game. So, Ladder Golf, or how about Ladder Horseshoes - sounds much more politically correct and maybe even accurate so I think I will train them to call it that, they are staying with us for six months or so helping me help their son fight cancer. they are actually living in the 40' fifth wheel in our back yard, which is, by the way, alot nicer than our house I think, LOL.

My Parents have been in two RV clubs for a few years. At our last 2 family reunions not only did we play the game you are talking about, but we also played bean bag baseball too.
This Geezer golf, Dingle balls or whatever you want to call it is great for people of all ages. We had people from 5-80 years old playing and everyone had fun.

My boy’s made a set. They used tennis balls and pvc pipe. They glued the pipes except for the bottom ones so it would fold flat for travel. The biggest expense is the corner pieces. Or order.

We call it "Wally Ball" in our camping club. One variation that we have done is make the ladders a little taller so the space between the cross members is a little bigger. Then instead of using golf balls, we used tennis balls on a little longer rope. These are used mostly by the younger kids in the club. The tennis balls don't hurt as much when their "aim" is off! The adults still use the golf ball version.
