I have a drawtite 16k slider in my short bed GMC2500HD and I have yet to use it. But if I ever need it I know its there. Get the slider.

I'm in the process of installing my own Superglide right now. I do extensive research before buying anything over $25(It drives my wife nuts and she approves the purchase just to shut me up.) LOL!

I have talked to owners, maintainers/installers and salesmen(tech idiots!!) and all have said the Superglide is an outstanding product.

A way to justify the cost is to calculate your deductible X the number of times you go in a year. That will make the purchase a little easier, especially if you're a tight@$$ like me with money.
