Coffee and frozen pizzas can be made on a BBQ grill.
No matter how many times you flick the switch, lights don't work without electricity.
Cats are even more irritating without power.
He who has the biggest generator wins.
Chainsaws run on testosterone. Everyone envies the guy with the biggest chainsaw.
Women can actually survive without doing their hair--you just wish they weren't around you.
A new method of non-lethal torture - showers without hot water.
There are a lot more stars in the sky than most people thought.
TV is an addiction and the withdrawal symptoms are painful. One day at a time, brother.
Kids can survive 4 days or longer without a video game controller in their hand.
A 7 lb bag of ice will chill 6-12 oz Budweiser's to a drinkable temperature in 11 minutes, and still keep a 14-pound turkey frozen for 8 more hours.
There are a lot of trees around here.

If Ivan doesn't hit Cape Canaveral we will be there starting Sep 24 for three weeks at Ron Jon Cape Caribe Resort .

I'm glad that we live in the desert southwest. It may get hot at times-but no hurricanes or tornadoes to deal with--or icestorms for that matter. Florida has had its share of storms this year.

You missed one buddy..Pump houses are not just for pumps. People and dogs can live in them also. A little cramped, but we are still here. Carl.


Have worked on cars most of my life but with these new ones I seem to be getting dumber and dumber. The more I learn, the more I need to learn. I was taught old-school tactics and have many stories to tell. I also have what I think are good ideas.

Those 'learnings' were priceless to read. What a sense of humor in such a hard time. Personally, I think it's time for you to move to Texas and spread that humor around LOL!
