Just to keep everyone up-to-date, the little no MOHO signs are still in my neigbor's front yards (next door and kitty corner across the street). Next door put in a second one on the property line that faces my yard. I think it's funny - bugs the c*ap out of hubby.
I did decide to legally pursue having these CCR's removed from my deed. As you may be aware, I called for a community vote in writing and only half of the lot owners responded, so I called a RE attorney and we are going to file for a "declaratory judgement", to have a judge declare these stupid CCRS which no one follows anyway NULL and VOID.
It'll cost me a bit of $$$, but if I can clear my deed, it will be worth every penny.
Oh yea, I sent over some photos of the Land Baron's dog roaming loose in the street to animal control. He should be getting a nice citation any day now.

Sorry for your problems. I'd tell them what to do, but it's a physically anatomically impossible act.

Sometimes it can be really helpful to have a motorhome parked in your driveway.
My sister was putting in a bid to purchase the house next door to me. My neighborhood seems to attract a lot of buyers and my sister didn't need the competition. She requested that I park my motorhome in the driveway and leave the kid's toys all over the yard. I did anything that I could to scare off potential buyers. The looks on some buyer faces were priceless when I came out from under the motorhome all covered in grease and dirt from working on it. My tactic worked. My sister was the winning bid.
So...back to the storage yard for the motorhome and I made my yard 'ship shape'. I'm not sure that I'd want to store my motorhome at my house, but that is my choice. It would really bother if I didn't have a choice. I do feel for you. Having full/responsible use of a personal vehicle is a basic freedom in this country that should not be messed with.
Yes I'd be upset if someone parked their tractor trailer in our nice little neighborhood but an RV always puts a smile on my face and is welcome in my 'hood any time.

I used to sit on an HOA board of directors - in a townhouse association where covenants (C0)/CCRS are actually necessary.
Two things - courts have frequently ruled that covenants (CCRS) that are not regularly enforced (as in violations ignored for a year or longer) make everything UNENFORCEABLE!
Second - if they want to be picky, get out the rules and gp around filing complaints on all the little chincy violations you know they're guilty of until they beg for mercy!
I really like the dog thing.
Good luck

Here's the key, though -
When I get the CCR's removed, I will build a nice concrete pad on the side of the house for my Moho and screen it in nicely with landscaping and such. It'd be nice to have it off the driveway, even though I don't use the third bay for anything anyway.
I am just not gonna spend that kind of money until I am sure the fight has been won once and for all.

Just to clarify RE - Real Estate?
I'm faced with the same problem. I get warning letters whenever I have our mh in our driveway for more than 72 hours (limit set my the CCRS), but four of my neighbors keep there boats in their driveway 24/7 for up to 10 months at time. Our CCRS make no distinction between a boat or a motor home, all are classified as RV's and all must abide by the 72 hour limit. This has been going on for years. I get real upset with this type of ‘selective enforcement’.
I would love to break the CCRS in my little arrogant neighborhood. I have finally just resorted to leaving our mh parked as long as I need it at home. Sometimes for weeks at a time. My neighbor’s house across the street has siding missing and siding that is rotting, the fence is missing sections and three cars (all can be seen from the street) that have not moved for at least 4 years. All of these are in violation of our CCRS. Since he is able to get away with all of that, then why can’t I park my mh in my own driveway for more than 72 hours? The property management has threatened him with legal action for the last 2 years and has yet to file anything against him.
I don’t ever plan on storing our mh on our property. There is just not enough room and the county I live in (Cobb County Georgia) prohibits building any detached garage/shelter over 625 sq feet. I would need at least a shelter 16 x 45 feet (720 sq feet).
Just call me the ‘trailer trash’ of Wynford Chase Subdivision. But I don’t care anymore what my ‘neighbors’ want! I am tired of be singled out from the rest of the CCRS violators.

Karen, its good to see that some positive things are beginning to happen. I know this has been such a b*tch for you to deal with and its been hard for those of us following your storing to only be able to provide support long distance.
