Who out there can help me find the kind of folding camping chair that is shown on page 6 of the 2004 Camping World Master Catalog. The chair is pictured in the ad for the "Clamp-N-Carry Chair Rack". The chairs usually have a chrome frame with a stretch fabric held under tension by three small springs. The chairs most often have wooden arms and they fold very flat, easy for storing them. If you can tell me where I can still order them please contact me at mjrcnusa@pocketmail.com Thanks so much for your help,

I think the chair you are looking for is the ZipDee. We bought some about sixteen years ago from a camping store that also sold the awnings of the same name. It might be that the company is still in businessl

The ZipDee chair is what you are looking for - they do still make them - a bit pricey but we have 2 that were purchased in mid-06's and are still good...still using the original covers, even! Camping World has them and I expect Camperes' Choice does, too, and probably a little cheaper. ZipDee has a web site - try there for dealers in your area. Be careful - there are look-alikes that are not near the quality/comfort of the ZipDees - we have one of those, too!

Joy, is that a typo, or are the chairs really almost 100 years old. They really are good.

Yes, I've tried Camping World, Camper's Choice and several other RV parts catalogs. Camping World discontinued them a year or so ago and no longer shows them for sale in their catalog or their stores. I've even looked in Cabela's catalog.

Thanks Joy, I found ZipDee's website and they still show the chairs listed under their products catagory. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

While they do look good and do hold up........I have a pair that I bought at camping world back in 1993........they are about the most UN-comfortable chair I have ever sat in......(Maybe that's why they look so good, I never sit in them anymore)..........the LaFuma arm chair is about the same price and much more comfy...
