HELP!!! too many to choose from, husband had stroke this year and is constantly cutting himself now. He needs to use an electric shaver, but I am at a loss on what to get. The 3 round blade thingy or straight across blade? Too many to choose from, any suggestions from you all would help. He has always used toss out razors so I know it will be quite an ajustment for him...any suggestions??
Thanks, Suz

Every razor I tried ripped out my wiskers till I tried my uncles Norelco triple header in 1967. I got my own and have lost track on how many I have worn out since.

I tried several of the triple head units and been shaver burned by all of them. Now only use the srtaight head variety. Braun is great BTW.

Braun has been the best for me. Least amount of irritation to the face.
Get the one with the cleaning attachment. Really makes a great razor better.

Now listen up "little Lady & Listen good"...a little John Wayne...
I've been using electrics for 35 years. I have a problem with shacky hands too. Basically two types to consider...The 'Rotary Blades are good for Long, Soft wiskers like womens leg hair or even shaving neck hair. They don't do a thing for Short, stought Wiskers like I have. The only thing that works for my very tough short wiskers is the 'Micro Blades. The best one of these I've had is the Remington Micro-Shield series of shavers.

There are many good ones. I have a Norelco triple blade rotary and like it.

For self grooming use the triple-head Norelco for my whiskers
and for my woodworking use my whiskers instead of sandpaper. Wife suggested I clean the black off the fireplace skillet but think she is just jealous. My electric is probably 20 years old though so may not be like the new ones.

I tried several brands any types over the years and am happiest with a Braun, one straight blade. My complaint about most electric razors is that they don't shave you as close as a blade. Braun is the best one I had as far as closeness goes.
One large is much easier to clean then the 3 rotary heads.

Take the time, get lessons, shave him every day; don't forget the hot towel. And a little off the top, if you trim hair too. Also trim ear hair, old guys like that, in a barberette!!! The Muffin Man.
Don't use the rotary, it burns, if your beard grows rapidly!!
