So 19.5's can give 1000lbs+ more tire capacity per tire over E-rated tires right? Does anyone have any negatives about them?
Are there fitment issues?
Can they be run at lower pressure when unloaded?

No fit issues with the Fords..
I run mine at 105 back and 95 front..
When unloaded about 90 in all.. I fine they wear evenly at those pressures..
Cost is the downside..

Cost.
Wheel supplier delievery time.
Spare tire issues?
Some folks have reported some "wandering" issues.
Some folks have reported a stiffer unloaded ride.
Smaller tire selection.
Those are some negatives that come to mind. I have no doubt they greatly reduce sway and improve loaded handling.

Nothing in personal experiance but have observed a friend. I think of him as the most knowlegable truck guy I know so I respect his opinion. Granted he hauls a fiver an not a TC. He is a former race driver and knows tires and handling.
He invested the bucks in wheels and tires and within a year they were gone. He did not like the ride or the handling of the truck with them. Just an observation of his situation.

Find reasonable priced wheels...
ride can be a bit rough empty....
but tire life will be much longer with a good tire....and in my case i can haul 4500 lbs per tire....
I didn'y buy them for looks....they work great....

Brad, I'll ask him but keep in mind he does not carry the weight on the truck like we do. His truck makes just shy of 500 hp so the handling without a RV might have a bunch to do with it. He went back to XPS Traction on both the truck and fiver.

I run mine at 80psi to keep them from dishing (uneven wear).
The loaded ride is great. Empty, it's a bit harsh. But hey, it's a truck. The stock ride wasn't exactly cushy.

One negative I know about. I have been told by someone who owns them that they really can't be aired down for sand and such.

My Triple E came with 19.5's and needed the duals replaced. I did a lot of phoning and found Kelly Springfields (Goodyear) 8r19.5's for under $120.00 each. Cost of other brands were in some cases much more money (Michlens were $350.00 +.
I had no issues getting them, took about 2 hrs to come from the wearhouse.
Did no check other sizes but had the impression that they were all available within a couple days.
I had to pay to get them installed at a truck shop and they put in balance beads.
I have not had any issues with wandering.
Wear is pretty evan but I had all the bushings etc replaced in front end and realligned with full liquids and most of the weight that I would be travelling with. Rear ride is pretty stiff loaded or unloaded, front is much better with airbags and not hash at all.
I thought the MH handled really good. A month ago we came back from holidays and almost 5000 miles. Not much rain but lots of wind and outside of a couple times it was pretty decent. Driving around town is fine though our roads here suck.
