To dispel some of the common abbreviations I would like to start this thread, add any and all you can think of and I will add them to the list. If the thread gets too messy I'll ask BradW to clean it up.

4WD - four wheel drive
AT - automatic transmission (slush box)
ABS - Anti-Locking Braking System
ATF - Automatic Transmission Fluid
CAT - Catalytic Converter
CB - Citizen band radio
CC - Crew Cab
CCA - Cold Cranking Amps
CPS - Cam position sensor
CTD - Cummins Turbo Diesel (Dodge)
D/A - Duramax Diesel/Allison Transmission (Chevy/GMC)
DIFF- axle differential (pumpkin, gears)
DOT - Department of Transportation
DRW - Dual rear wheel
EB - Exhaust Brake
EFI - Electronic Fuel Injection
EGT - Exhaust gas temperature (for diesel owners)
GAWR - Gross Axle Weight Rating
GCWR - Gross combined weight rating
GVWR - Gross vehicle weight rating
LB - Long Bed
LSD - Low sulfur diesel
MC - Megacab
MDT - Medium duty truck
MPG - Miles per gallon
MPH - Miles per hour
MT - manual transmission (crash box)
OD - Overdrive
OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer
PSD - Power Stroke Diesel (Ford)
PU - Pickup
QC - Quad Cab
SB - Short Bed
SRW - Single rear wheel
T/H - Tow/Haul Mode
Toad- towed vehicle
TV - Tow vehicle

ULSD - Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel

I think someone should come up with a new one for Tow Vehicle. TV has always been Television to me and a lot of other people. TowV ?
