I was just reading the thread about putting the camper away for the winter and someone wanted to see winter pics posted. So, here's a new thread that everyone can post '06/'07 winter pics. For the campers that still question whether its worth the extra effort, maybe some of our winter pics can show that it is well worth it I love seeing other's winter fun!
Maybe Brad can make it a sticky?
Hope this works I'm posting this w/o being able to see the picture. Our first trip of the year. Temps dropped to 10F.

Nope...It was out at Otter Lake on Ft. Rich. We went out there after work last Fri. for one night. Had too many things going on to stay Sat.

Nice view and nice rig. I figured it was down on the Kenai, but the lake isn't big enough now that I look closer.. I would have thought Fort Rich camping was closed this time of year. Is it open or do they just let you stay. Any power?

Walt,
We just parked down by the boat dock. There weren't any signs saying no camping. I only saw 2 vehicles the whole time. No power, only boondocking.
You guys got much snow out there? Thinking about taking the sleds up to Hatcher in a week or two. Later, Chad

We have about 6" here at the house. I live about 2.5 miles up the Palmer Fishhook just down from the pass. I haven't been up there in a couple of weeks but it appears they have a couple of feet now.
Say, what's the coldest you have camper out in? When does propane stop working I forgot?

Nice Picture Chad.
How is that good lookin' camper so far?
It's raining cat and dog down here. Next weekend I have Ski Patrol training and the extended forcast is SNOW.
Winter pics to follow all winter, if I can figure out how to post them.
I (2-10-05) bought a 2002 F350 CC SWD PSD and a new 2003 Citation 10'8. Rancho 9000X, Superhitch, Wave 3 & Toyo M55's or Toyo 19.5's. I have been a tent camper all my life. I wanted more comfort while camping and doing my Crater Lake Ski Patrol duties.

Dang you Alaskans are B-A! We love to winter camp....but have to wait awhile more here in the WA Cascades. Thinking about going up to Mr. Rainier this weekend to find some white stuff.
Great picks!

We like to winter camp too, but that goes until about early Nov when the temps get down to far then the propane quits running. I've been down to -10 deg F. I can't remember the cut off temp for propane but it isn't far from -10 deg. We are planning on taken off in Feb and heading to Baja with the TC and some warmer weather.
