How is it with pet hair? Right now we have hard wood floors throughout the house and only a large sectional rug in the living room and dining room. However, I found that with pet hair, some vacuum's just don't pick it effectively.
Three cats and mostly tile downstairs---great.
We do empty it every day - only takes 10 seconds if that.

We were in our 5th wheel for Christmas and after 5 hours of charging I tried it out in the trailer..The floors looked clean before I ran it, but when I emptied it there was a ton of dog hair and dust in it

Does the Rhomba have any suction like a vacuum, or is it more like a sweeper action? I know they have been out for a while but I never even bothered to look at them. Thanks for posting about them, now I have a reason to go check them out.

In the log home we will be building in the desert I am allowing Mark to have a pully-system that will enable him to lift the keg to the upstairs loft just off of the bathroom

Mywife got one last summer. It does good and drives our dog nuts. He runs toward it, barks and then backs up.

We bought one for DS and DIL for Christmas. They have an indoor cat, toddler and hardwoods. In other words, enough to keep one busy. They seem to love it. Go on about it all the time.
After all the rave reviews, we may have to get one for ourselves!!
