While I was finishing the lawn and blowing the clippings off the sidewalk I had the answer to the question of high air volume at low pressure in my hand, the leaf blower could do the job! So the test would be to cut a piece of cardboard, get a 4” hose and set it up in the holding tank door. I checked all the doors windows and vents to make sure that they were closed. Then after SLOWLY closing the back door on the camper I checked the pressure and I had 20 ounces of pressure inside the camper. The stupid thing worked! It worked great! So now that I had pressure I could check the camper for leaks with some soapy water in the garden sprayer. There were a few leaks around the jacks and the screws that attached them to the camper and the tail-lights were also leaking like a sieve. The gasket on the left hand side of the cab over window leaks but that just drains into the window cannel then dumps to the outside of the camper. No roof leaks and the new clearance lights are also bubble free. The Setup: Leaking Tail Lights: Leaking Screws On The Jacks: Leaking Window: So now I have a simple setup that I can use at home anytime. I will be making a plug out of plywood for the holding tank door instead of the cardboard. So now you can pressure test you’re camper and find any of those pesky leaks at home and for just about free. One last thing; if you are going to do this test yourself you assume all responsibility for any damage done by over pressure. Good Caution on the pressure being at the owner's risk. I have one of these. The wife is always complaining about me blowing her plants out by the roots, but I don't have to worry if the leaves are dry or that too many have come down! PS - I would work on those leaks at the bolts right away. I will back out the screws that are leaking on the jacks and use Pro Flex under the heads. The tail-lights will have to come off and be resealed with Pro Flex also maybe some new gaskets under the lenses too. The window will take more time but that does not leak into the camper is drains into the windows weep holes and then outside. Maybe a new seal?
