Hello everyone! This is to "keep the ball rollin'" from the Hybrid Travel Trailer Forum. We have agreed to have our
1st Annual N.Y. Hybrid Rally - Sept. 7th - 9th, 2007 @ Sampson State Park which is in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York State. Located on Seneca Lake, Sampson State Park was once a naval training site then an Air Force Base before becoming a state park.
We have started to organize our gathering in the HTT forum, we will be in Loop # 5, all of it's sites provide electric. ANYONE interested in joining, please feel free to book a site and then either PM me or one of the people listed below, or even better post on this thread your site # and dates booked!

Anyone know about water here,I am guessing theres no water hookup on the sites,anyone know if there is potable water in the park or will i have to tote it from home?

I dont know what they have but we always bring our own drinking water. Bottles. We just fill the tank with there(whatever park we are at) water for washing dishes, hands and toilet.

I think it was on the Park home page that I read that, there is a water filling station (probably at the dumping station) where you could fill on the way in. Also there are numerous taps throughout the loop for juggin' it to the camper. (hoses are not to be hooked up to these).!
Edit: actually this is from the page!! "All sites are within walking distance of most park facilities. None of the sites offer hook-ups for sewer or water but there are dump and fresh water fill stations near the park office. There are fountains in each loop for filling water jugs but no hoses may be connected to these faucets."
