Is there a list online anywhere which shows which vehicles can be towed four down without any major modifications?? Are considering moving up from a 5er to a Class A. Oh, and towed vehicle would need to be an automatic.

Thanks!

I agree with SacsTC, to be sure, check the owners manual before purchasing. In most, but not all owners manuals, it will listed under "recreational towing".

I think the Remco site only lists vehicles that need something from them. My Escape is not listed but can be towed four down with the manual transmission. The Motorhome Mag. site posted by SacsTC lists vehicles that do not need any major modifications.

Here

About halfway down on the left side. Still wise to check the owners manual for the vehicle to be towed. It should have full instructions if towable.

Be certain to verify the MotorHome Listing info which shows '07 Yukon 4X4 at 4594 pounds. I bought one. GMC says it weighs 5524.

The Motorhome listing most likely has the manufacturer's "Base Weight" which is for the most stripped down model in the line. So definitely, pay attention to the actual weight of the example you choose to buy.
