The sites in the area 1 are sheltered from the wind & there is a big grassy area behind them, we stayed in area 3 & 'bout got blown away. Lake perch is good, but very $$$, we could have ocean perch. Just a thought. We've deep fried it in peanut oil with Andies batter, it's very good. And I don't care for most fish.

Weather forcast for May. Highs:71, lows 51. Rain in May a little over 4". But with global warming in full swing I'm sure it will much warmer & I think dryer. I can't keep track if global warm makes it dryer or wetter. They keep changing it

We reserved 181. This will be our first TC rally. I can't wait. I hardly ever see any other TC's! It'll be nice to be in the majority for a change. Dave.

Lake St Mary's isn't much deeper than that

I was thinking about bringing our boat, is this not a good lake for tubing/skiing? Are there many hazards/shallows?

ps we're in 167

From the St. Mary's website:

Boating

Boats with no limits on horsepower are permitted on the lake.
Five state operated launch ramps provide access to the lake.
Several private launch ramps also exist along the shallow shoreline.
Fuel, boat rentals and seasonal dock rentals are available.
A 300? no wakes zone has been established and is enforced around the lake?s 52 miles of shoreline.
The state wildlife refuge, located on the southwest corner is off limits to boats at all times.

Was the comment about being 1 foot deep because of drought? Dave.
