OK, this needs to start now.... NOW! With about a foot of global warming on the ground at the moment, I need something to look forward to after Christmas and the Superbowl. May. 6 months away. Seems like we're just UNDER 6 months at the moment? Mike? What do you say? Let's start the chatter. I'm alredy praying for another President's day storm like we had last year when we picked up our camper. We spent that weekend sleeping in it, in the snow. It was awesome. Looking at the Lance under the ADCO, I'm jonesing for a camper fix bad...

The snow is getting rather deep isn't it Nik? It's still snowing at our house and we probably got a new 8" on top of the 12" the last storm.

Let's get going on our first North-East TC Jamboree for 2008. Joe and I agreed to be Wagonmasters for this event. We'll follow in the giant footsteps of Mike and Trapper Dick.

================
North-East Truck Camping Jamboree - Spring 2008

Dates: May 15,16,17 & 18, 2008 (Thursday to Sunday)

Location:
Horseshoe Acres Campground
1978 Weston-Andover Road
Andover Vermont 05143
Phone: 802-875-2960

Cost: $25.00 per night includes electric and water, dump available, cable available and maybe by spring wi-fi

Reservations with campground:
None needed--Just show up. We have the entire Safari Field. Reply here if you are planning to attend so we can get a rough head count.

WagonMasters, Anne and Joe Brown, at TwoMaineiacs2@yahoo.com for email if you have something to ask you don't want online.

We had a fantastic time last year even though it rained almost constantly. There is a large, dry building for our use with plenty of power right where the campsites are. There is also a BBQ pit and a large fire ring.

The small town of Chester, VT is nearby and has an old town square to visit with both book and antique stores. Also both of the Vermont Country Stores are nearby. There is beautiful mountain scenery all around plus the challenge of the entry to the safari field which may or may not have running water over it. Relax, it's easily passable but every one already there will come watch you!

We'll have a hot dog roast Friday night, pot luck Saturday night and group breakfast on Sunday morning. There will be door prizes, games, a yard sale table for all those good condition TC items you no longer need, and lots of time to visit. Please throw out some ideas for events if you have something to share.

Hopefully we will have even more TCs than last year. We welcome all our North American TCers which of course includes our Canadian friends.

Anne and Joe

Well, I'll throw in that we'll be there and we'll pray for some GOOD weather this time around! We deserve it after last year.

Anne let us know if there's anything we can do. I'm already thinking of a couple good raffle prizes.

I truly believe that a dog is no longer man's best friend, it's now a Honda 2000.

We're in. That was our first ever rally last year. Wouldn't miss it for the world.
