Anyone have anything new on how to get the Alcoa style uncoated polished aluminum wheels clean after sitting out all winter ? I use the Mother's powerball on the rears with Wenol for the rough clean then Blue Magic for the finish. The fronts are all hand work. A spray on spray off cleaner would be great.  There has to be something. I can't believe all those big rigs with 12 aluminum wheels polish them by hand.

CW sells Alcoa Aluminum Wheel 3-Step Cleaning system. I have used it on my wheel twice now. All by hand. 
Next time I do the wheels I plan on using a Mothers PowerBall with the Alcoa products above.
If find something better. Please let me know.

The problem with the Powerball is it can only be used on the outer half of the rears. The lugs stick out to far to use it in the inner groove. The convex shape of the fronts along with the holes prevents it's use on them. It does work great on all other polished wheels I have though. I am going to try the sealant in hopes of the shine lasting a little longer. I will look at that Alcoa stuff next time I am at CW. It is a real shame they do not clear coat them. Thanx

Stop by a truck stop and have a professional do it for you. Wont cost too much $$ and they will get em looking better than new. I thought I was doing a good job till I had mine and fuel tanks done by some guys that knew what they were doing. Now a little preventive maintenance is all that is needed to keep then shining.

zephyr pro-40. You rub it gently until black, walk away and wipe it off 5 minutes or so later, like wiping a babys bottom.

Fair warning, try that Alcoa stuff in a small spot first, I saw a guy stain his rim and it wouldn't come out.

This is by far the best I have used... and I have used a lot of wheel polish. It is also available at Flying J. A close second is this made by ALCOA. Both work very well with the power ball Flitz ball or power ball mini.

Mother aluminum polish is the only way. I have tried every other product out there on my motorcycles and this works the best.
