Wow looks like you all had a great turn out. Everyone wearing T-shirts & some wearing shorts, must have had good weather too. We had a couple of inches of snow this weekend on the valley floor, pretty strange for the 20th of April.

First and foremost: Thanks to Michelle and Ron, who ran a flawless affair, big corporations have departments that specialize in putting on such events which could not compare with your work this past weekend. GOOD JOB! Second: Hooray for Spott and his vast contribution to the success of the Rally. We hope that he is in good circumstance at home, we missed meeting him this time, hopefully next year will be much better. Thirdly: Thanks to Sacha, of Laura-n-Sacha, who did what the staff at Verizon's Help Desk could not, Got Me Back on Line! He's a GEEK ( a great geek,by gosh). Thanks to the gang from New England, Joe and Anne for the carpet, Mike and Cathie T. for providing a meeting place in the midst of all the action, and all who attended and contributed tales of travel, Gale and Jerry's Mexican winter trip,(jealousy, night and day you torture me), all the rigs, both great and small, and the ideas to make it easier and fun, to all the folks from AMSA who always show up, pitch in, and get-r-dun. A stellar weekend on the full moon! Yea, to the weather Gods!
Love to all,

We are home after a great rally at Tall Pines. We ended up with ten rigs from New England attending. We all sure did enjoy not having any snow for a change. What a joy not to be buried in parkas, mittens, hats with ear flaps, and heavy boots. There was enough yellow pine pollen to look like yellow snow but it didn’t need plowing.

Our group started off Thursday night with a feast of prime rib and fresh haddock cooked by Mike T under a 10x20’ open sided tent he’d brought in his front basket carrier. Fun to catch up with friends and hearing about JerBear and Paula’s winter TCing in Mexico.

Ron and Michelle sure planned a lot of activities throughout the weekend. It was fun going through all the new TCs the vendors brought and seeing what new products were available. We picked up a set of Torklift bump stops from East End Campers.
At the end of the rally, six of us convoyed over to Assateague Island National Seashore Park and camped by the dunes. Ponies and tiny Sitka elk were all around the TCs. The photo looks like the ponies are fenced in but they are wild and free.

Mike set up a wind shelter off his awning as the wind was howling. Ron, Michelle and their son and Linda and Skipbee who were camped nearby joined us for snacks and drinks and lots of talk of the rally. Long walks on the beach watching for the wild ponies and tiny Sitka elk, followed by a huge night time thunderstorm were the perfect end to a great trip. It was worth every hour of driving and each gallon of diesel. We’ll be going back to Tall Pines next year.
