I have an 04 Jayco Jay Feather Sport 165 that I bought new in July 05. (New leftover). I just discovered that the linoleum floor in the front of the camper is all bubbled up from moisture under the floor. I opened the front storage door & found the floor is very soft & spongy. I then looked under the camper & found the same. The camper is stored on a sloped blacktop driveway. The dealer had replaced the front window Apr 06 due to a cracked cover. Now I am thinking they never properly sealed around the window allowing water to run down the inside of the exterior fiberglass to cause this problem. It is the worst at the front wall under the right side of the replaced window. I have an extended warranty, just hope its covered. Will it need to go back to the factory for repair? The damage extends to about 3 foot inside the front wall & from the right wall to about 6 feet to the left. Any opinions or help please.....Oh, by the way, the modifications I did to it were for storage & are in thr rear section of the camper & no where near where this problem is.

Extended Jayco warranty or another brand? I don't know, often the insurance carrier deems it as being owner neglect, and chalks it up to inadaquate "preventative maintenance". Water intrusion can come from anywhere and seep into virtually any place in your rig. Jayco has repaired other Jayco owners RV flooring at the factory, so let us know what happens!

I'm on break from fixing my 2000 Jayco Qwest. Have found leaks at all three windows up front and I first noticed it in the same way. The front storage compartment being discolored. The leaks allowed water to flow into the floor system and then be trapped. the cover on my front window leaked somehow as well as lowest corners of both side windows. has caused a sickening amount of damage, I'd suggest cutting the belly fabric open and pulling out the insulation to let things dry and also to make sure you don't end up with a halfway repair job. I'd want pictures of the warranty repair to make sure they completely replace the floor in the affected areas

Good Luck

Rob
