I put one i n my trailer and love it. I got mine from Signature Hardware.com. It was a little pricey, $49.95, but it is made of stainless steel. I had to cut it to fit. I used a tubing cutter to cut it to size.
We love it, it sure does make the shower seem larger.

www.lakeside.com has a curved shower rod for 7.95 that works perfect for RV's. It's adjustable so you don't have to cut it. I looked at Lowes and Bed, Bath and Beyond and they were a lot more.

I put the one from lakeside in my travel trailer and love it. the mounting brackets keep it in the postion you want.

I have this one as well. I had to trim a very small amount off from each side, but it went up very easily and was just what I needed. It's amazing how much more room you have moving around in the shower with the curved rod!

Be sure that you cut equal amounts off of each end and not just one end or you may have trouble with the angles of the brackets in relationship to the curvature of the tube.

Do these rods mount in the same brackets the regular rod mounts in?

No. It comes with new angled brackets that swivle to the position needed after you cut the rod.

Why not buy the RV tracks that attach to the ceiling that
hold curtains?

They make them in curved sections also, seem it would be
a whole lot easier.

They tracks can be purchased at any RV dealerships parts dept.

This is the kind mine came with. Works great and the curtain is clear at the top 6 inches or so to let in light. Also - without the actual rod there, it's one less thing to bang my head on. Stupid short trailer door gets me every time.

I installed one in my TT. When you are ready to install, bring a pipe saw. Nothing is perfect!

Go to your storage place and measure... its a must...

Good luck - take lots of pictues and let us see how yours turned out

They come with brackets that swivle out to match your fit. And they can be cut very easy with copper tube cuters or even a hack saw. If the end is jagged and not even it will still work because the end slides into the bracket about an inch and a half and then should tighten down with a set screw. I install them in homes every week.

Pictures of mine, I bought at Wally World, cut about 15 inches off each pipe. Removed my according door and reused most of the same holes for mounting.
