I was really excited when I saw that we finally had been allocated a "small trailers" forum. That is, I was until I posted something that I thought was of interest to only small trailer owners and got a lot of replies from owners of big rigs. Then I discovered that our "small trailers" forum consists only of a virtual tag on our posts that allows us to see them all together.

Big deal!

Apparently we don't rate the same treatment that the popup owners, Class A owners, etc, do.

For that reason, I haven't been checking in a lot lately---and I think this is undoubtedly true for others as well.

What about you other small rig owners?

I spend more time on the http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/ forum. Its more dedicated to small trailer enthusiasts...mostly fiberglass, but I'm sure they would welcome you there!
I recently joined this one too http://www.mikenchell.com/forums/profile.php?mode=activate&u=7383&act_key=e251c8bcf8
but it seems mostly regarding Teardrops

Art:
A lot of people on this forum go to "Newest" up in the upper left corner, and respond to the various questions/subjects....unrelated to what they drive. Keep in mind, many of the people who are now in larger RVs may have started out in the "small trailers" that you have and are interested in.

Also keep in mind, that your small trailer is very much like the larger ones in many respects. Many of the systems are the same, and input from a larger group of people will probably be to your benefit.

JMHO!!

How many forums does everyone think this place should have, 2-300??

Click on the small tts in the topic categories when you open the TT forum and that's all you'll see, small tt threads.

I don't see the big deal.

Art, you can glean whatever good info is available from the reponses or you can take your ball and go home. Your choice. I view this forum from the newest posts and respond to many outside my genre

I don't understand what the big deal is here either. A travel trailer is a "type" of RV regardless of its size, just as a pup, or a fiver or class A. They are all RV's, just different "types"...that is why they have a separate sections for them. It doesn't matter whether its 10' or 30'...they all pretty much work the same and have the same issues and problems.

You can please some of the people some of the time and all of the people NONE of the time.

The internet is a vast cavern of numerous places to visit...keep searching would be my advice for just what you are looking for...it's out there as apparently this one is not for you.

BTW...I'm sorry you feel this way...I'd rather have a larger population of folks to get advice from rather than a small group of kool-aide drinking folks

Personally I think the TT forums ROCK and so does the guy that oversee's us kids!

We have a small TT and are satisfied with the way it is now. If I need just small TT info I can click on the link, but most of the time I am interested in reading questions and ideas from all types of RV homes. Many of the tips we learned were from campers who travel in larger vehicles than we have so we will continue to check out the whole TT section as well as going to the small TT section now and then.
