I just did a quick search for Travelaire in Red Deer AB.........looks like they're still building TT and 5r's, but didn't see any TC's on their website.

Snowbird/Snowriver has announced his factory is on hold. He has laid off his entire workforce as of Aug 8th.

Wow, Mike......I'm really sorry to hear that one!
We spent the afternoon of August 1 with Bob and he said he'd cut back his production line from ten units per week to two, but he still had four on the line and was planning on continuing that way until the Spring.
I'll send him an email and get back to you with more info if possible.

Western RV /Alpenlite , closed the Yakima plant and Adventurer I think opened up there.

I just saw Bob's post about Snow River on another forum and it looks like he's been forced to pull the pin, at least for now. Let's hope it's temporary for Bob and all the others and that they can keep our passion rolling along again soon.

In fact, they have stopped production and are keeping a warranty repair staff to service prior customers.

TH Manufacture WW had their assets seized by the banks. Pretty long post on the TH forum. WW was an extremely large and influential company in the TH world. That's not a good sign for anybody.
Drove by Lite-Craft the other day and their lot was pretty bare. Most of their units are made to order so it may not mean anything. They are also a truck accessory store selling toppers. They are an extremely small manufacture so i hope that works out in their benefit.
Times are tough. Got an email from a friend back east who worked for Linen's and Things for a number of years. Said he resigned after his company filed for Chapter 11 and he really didn't want to see what the other chapters looked like.

I guess I can write now...
Bob Mehrer and I were passing emails back and forth a few weeks ago... he said that he was on hold for the winter... thant he and Al would be at tha factory doing warrenty work, He worrys about his workforce, his customers, and his friends.
I wish him and Snow River the very best!
