I do believe that a list of items that are useful/necessary for comfortable camping is good to review now and again but a check list for each trip?
Yes I do. I put the non-skid stuff down in the cabinets and the heat is so hot it melted it onto anything that was sitting on it. When it gets to 110+ degrees here, it's even hotter inside the TC. It ruins your stuff. I almost ruined an extension cord just sitting on the floor of the truck this summer. The cord was sitting on top of the fastguns and they got so hot, it almost melted the rubber coating of the extension cord.

Instead of making a new copy every trip I mark off the first trip of the year with a slash. The next trip make the slash an X. The next trip circle the X.

I'd run out of marking symbols we've traveled so much this year. 95% of the stuff stays right in the TC and the truck but always good to put an eyeball on it. Never know if you took a long extension cord out for another use and forgot to put it back in.

We keep almost everything we need for camping in our camper and if we start to run low we create a short list of what we need to replenish.

I know, crazy huh? Since winter is just around the corner and the weather is finally starting to cool down, we'll be able to leave the stuff in the TC. It's just the summer that it's a pain.

I'm with him (and now I don't feel so bad about the tree goop that gets all over the camper - the woods keeps the heat down and lets me keep all the stuff in the camper.
We are just starting up after taking the summer off from horse camping to fix up the place and get the kid married there. Yup, everything's still there: Just pack up clothes and food and go.........except I'm not nearly as good at loading the TC. Oh well, nobody saw me try 5 separate times before success.

We have a short list that we use. Most everything that is in the camper is in plastic boxes. Each box has a catagory so it is easy to check the box to see what is in it.
Also makes it easy to move things from the TC to the house and back on the things that we do.
Have bee contemplating putting together a detailed check list as others have done.
If someone where to post some check lists in xls that would be great.
If not thats ok too.
Nice part about the boxes is that they are easier to control movement in cabinets than loose items.

I sent the file to MudChucker so hopefully he'll get it up on the thread soon.
