IMO, It dosen't matter what TP you use, as long as you use enough water when you dump. Make sure your tank is full before you dump. The key is, water, water and more water.

We use Kirkland "bathroom tissue" from Costco in the house and the RV. No problams. It states on the wrapper that it is "safe for all normal septic and sewer systems".
The best test is to put a couple sheets of your favorite paper in a quart jar with a pint or so of water, put the lid on, and shake it a few times. If the paper disintegrates, it is RV safe. If it doesn't, I wouldn't want it going into my septic tank!
Remember, the tank on your RV is a "HOLDING TANK", not a "SEPTIC TANK". Chances are, the "stuff" won't be in there long enough for any microbial or enzymatic action to take place.

Yeah, that's the right answer. Especially if you're concerned. If not, anything will do as it won't be in the tank long enough to matter.

Another Kirkland convert here...the "bare left hand" method (single ply tissue) did not work so well for us.

There IS a reason they sell TP specifically formulated for use in RV's.

there have been test done by people on the net and by CR...

I don't think I have ever read where anyone has tested the they didn't report that Scotts single pry wasn't one of the best to the best... even when RV specific paper was part of their test...

I have used Scotts for many years now in the RV and at home...

Any TP that states SEPTIC SAFE, will suffice. To be really safe, do not use Kleenex, and keep kleenex type tissues away from beeing tossed into the stool. They do a real number on the quantity sensors and take years to disolve.

Is there any TP that is NOT SEPTIC SAFE? I have never seemn one. Use what feels good to your but and don't make it complicated.
