I've had the same problem with the tilt issue which is annoying. I've stuffed a rag under the head to get it almost level until I get hooked up which seems to work o.k. For the price of the hitch it seems there could be something in the design to tilt the head rearward.

On a second note, I had to loosen the top of the towers bolts as it seemed to pinch the towers binding the slides it seemed. Silicone lubricant helped as well. Have others ran into this?

I haven't noticed any binding but I'll watch closer for it, thanks for the heads up. I contacted them re: the tilt of the head and they really don't care, acted like I was bothering them. Really poor customer service.

I was told originally by the N. Dakota facility in Fargo to be aware of the possibility of the pinching at the tower tops. Sure enough I had to loosen the top allen head bolts. I had to have one tower replaced due to a out of vertical condition. What I mean was the one side had 3/16ths of an inch closer measurement at the top then the bottom, creating binding. I ordered a new tower (that I paid for) which eliminated that issue. I figured the cost of shipping both ways and no guarantee that the factory would agree with me, I just got a new side tower setup and transferred the parts over.

If I had to do over and I could find one, I liked the Easy Rider air hitch I had before, better. The hitch was sold when we went to a truck camper but when we came back to a 5er, the company was out of business. That hitch worked well. So far I have not been real impressed with this one but I have only been on one trip with it and had the binding issue, so we'll see on the next trip. Just my 2 cts.

I communicated with the factory directly. Maybe I'm expecting to much but so far I am disappointed for the price.

I know there are bleed valves between the air bags but at times the slow movement of air allows one set of bags to be depressed while the other two are full, resulting in a tilted assembly for awhile. I've seen the nose of the air bag assembly tilt forward to the stops in normal braking so I'm not sure what is going on there. I inflate to the "green" area marked on the shocks but other than that I have no control over it. Does this sound normal?

I installed my AirSafe Hitch last month and it squeaked a lot; I called the factory in N. Dakota talked to Don and he said he never heard of them squeaking but to use Silicon or Triflow. I have only took a test drive since but it seems to work.
When you hook up and with the full weight of the 5er on the hitch check and make sure your rails are not bowing in the center, my Reese Rails were so I put a 3/8" plate under them for extra strength. I mounted the hitch so it is 1" in front of the axel.

Thanks for the tip on the rails, I'll have to check that the next time I load the trailer. I used silicone spary on the green pads that slide in the guides which quieted it down some but I am not sure of the bleed valve setting. Does your assembly tilt forward or rearward at times when loaded or braking? Thanks.

Yes, and it stays that way until I roll back or pull forward, maybe I should play with those bleeder screws a bit. When I air up after hitching it does not come up evenly front to rear.
