We just purchased a new fifth wheel. The grill we were using was made for the travel trailer we traided in, so I need to purchase a new grill . I was going to purchase a "Thermos Grill 2 Go 2 Advantage" but I decided the name was too long. Seriously, A friend has one and he says it is just to big, and I guess he is right. We are a family of three and ocasionally cook for up to 6 people. We mostly cook chicken, brats, hamburgers, and items wrapped in tin foil. We do not cook much scrambled eggs or hash browns, but I like the flip griddle of the unit I mentioned and maybe if it was that easy, we would use it. Ease of cleaning would be a plus. Anyone have suggestions of a grill you use and really like?

For a gas grill, we always just used a cheapo Sunbeam. We liked that because it's small and also works as an oven with our pop up camper.

We quit using the gas grill when we bought our Cobb cooker. Loved that so much we bought a second one. It's compact so might not work too well when cooking for six though. It's easy to clean as long as I remember to spray it first, and since every piece gets washed, it's a totally clean grill when you're done. It uses very little charcoal, too, which makes it nice.

We started using Dutch ovens about the same time we bought the Cobb, but that's a whole other thing.

We're going to start experimenting more with cooking over the campfire this year and will be giving tripod cooking a try. Or is that giving it a tri?

We use the Weber Baby Q. It works great for chicken, brats, steaks, & burgers. Able to use a slow low heat method required for brats & chicken. OR balzing hot for steaks & burgers.
