Any ideas about doing something in the Grant County area? We have some great friends that live in Praire City. They keep after us to come visit and this just might just be the thing to get us up in that area.

Our friend does a lot of hunting and fishing in the area and I'm sure he would help out with where to go.

So this is a real road rally.

Me very worried Matthew, about campsites labor day weekend.

Do you have ideas on that? I think there is no reservations at Lost Lake, it's FCFS there.

I doubt it's a problem on a Wednesday. The problem will be what to do Sunday night.

My sanity policy rule number one: Never travel or try to camp within a week of any holiday short of Thanksgiving or Christmas. The masses are out in full force, and I don't like the masses.

Looks like a great route non the less, Matthew B. Would October be too late to roll this plan?

Well, dunno yet, but here's the city's website
Prairie City, Oregon

From what I read, there's one RV park in town, Depot RV Park, in which the original RailRoad Depot is located, which is the museum. Its $16.00 a night for full hookups , depending on my schedule, I might just stop there for a night.
