How much does these systems cost? gas or diesel ?

Though I don't have an exact figure for my diesel tank/toolbox combo, I believe it was in the neighborhood of $725.00, installed. The installation was completed by myself, so the costs there were for materials and parts only.

Good luck in your choice.

I also have a 70 gallon Transfer Flow tank in the bed of my truck with the monitor on the dash. Works great.

You really need to think about how you want to get the fuel from the aux tank to the engine. You can use an automatic system (Transfer Flow and that sort) that will use a switching valve to pull fuel from either the main tank or the aux tank. Another way to do it is with a transfer tank that gravity feeds through the filler neck to the main tank (as some have mentioned previously). These are really the ends of the continuum in terms of simple vs fancy and there are models that are in between. Some people use a gravity feed system and add an electric solenoid to activate the transfer while driving down the road. Some folks add an electric pump to transfer the fuel quicker from the aux tank to the main tank.

Of course, the price ranges also. That is why I said to think about how you want to transfer fuel and then go from there.
