My 1996 Fleetwood Bounder model 34J 460 Ford needs new battery trays for the aux batteries. They are mounted in front of the core support just behind the front bumper. Coach is in nice condition however both battery trays need replaced. The current trays are welded to the frame. I'm sure I could manufacture some type of trsy but would rather purchase something that will just mount in place of original. looking for the easy out.

Hi George, I doubt if you'll find an easy way out. I have the same system in my 95 Bounder. Take the bumper off and you'll have plenty of room to cut out the bad metal and weld in new. Just last year I reshaped my battery trays to hold 4 6 volt batteries.

Today I contacted Fleetwood. They had the left side battery tray in stock and will get me the right side in a week or so. Never thought they would be available.
