I just had 4 FSD's installed recently and did a short test drive over a section of interstate with multiple bridge expansion joints. Seems much better, having crossed them in the past.

Getting ready to conduct a 12,000 mile test and will update as that progresses.

$159 each at http://www.precisionframe.com.

yes they are the FSD's and they are on a 04 workhorse chassis W-22. got the front from persison frame at 318.00 for 2 and got rears at shox company also at 318.00 for 2. checkedround at a lot of places and some wanted up to 730.00 and 740.00 for the same product plus shipping. i got the shipping for free. had to buy them from seperate places because both places were out of either the front or rears.
like i said only drove about 40 miles but it was on a dippy road and highway with expansion joints and so far really not much of a difference. will be taking a longer trip later and will see what happens.

so are the FSD's adjustable or not????

Seems to me that this discussion would be a lot more meaningful if we knew IF THEY WERE FSD'S.

I put the regular Koni adjustables on my DP and they did not have much effect on the ride, except to stop an annoying low speed porpoise. They did however, noticeably help the handling.

Then, I installed the adjustable series (they don't make the FSD's for it) on my E450 chassis (23' Coach House) and really can't say I see any difference between them and the OEM shocks. Got a real workout doing the installation tho - - That van chassis has some real access challenges for shock installation.

The reason for spelling is so that all of the words don't look the same.

Folks we may be comparing apples to oranges. I may be wrong, but most owners transitioned to the FSD's from Bilstein, IMO totally different shocks and actions.

Monroe's ride is much softer than Bilstein, hence the difference might not be so different.

You are right I came from Bilsteins. The Konis on the air ride chassis do make a difference.
