I have been shopping around for new M/H tires, mine are 9 years old and just starting to show cracks. My size is 245/70R19.5. I considered the China brands because of the cost and the tires are usually replaced after 6 years anyway. The U.S. tires run at least $100 more each. I decided to search the internet and came a across a mail in rebate on Goodyear for $50 a tire, that's $300 for the 6 tires. The mail in rebate details and download is located on the Goodyear Tire Company website. The rebate makes the wallet pain a little easier. Made my installation appointment today. Just thought I'd pass this rebate on. The rebate is good till July 31. None of the dealers even knew about this rebate.

Given how well the the China connection has done with pet food, lead paint on toys, drugs, and fasteners I would not under any circumstance consider saving $600.00 on unknows quality from China.
If I want to gamble I go to Indian casinos.

What price has anybody been quoted for a new 295/80 22.5 Goodyear G670RV tire before the $80.00 Goodyear rebate? I'd like to purchase a spare tire (no wheel) to carry along on a long upcoming trip just in case I need it. A local Big O Tire dealer says he can get these tires at $718.00 per tire so the price of this "insurance" is a little more than I expected. This price sounds a "bit" high but I have nothing to compare it with. Any thoughts???

We got ours last fall and paid $535 out door.. Tires(275X70X22.5 H rated) were $417 each then with add ons(Fed. tax, sales tax, deposal, balance, new stems, dismount, and mount) it came to the above price.. They were six months old and that was the newest he could find.. Friends just tryed to buy G670s and they were dated 2607, so he rejected them.. They did have a $75 rebate, but at that date they should have been half price?? Same size tire as ours.. Since the RV market is down they may not be making any new ones?? Just trying to get rid of the stock they have.. I'd watch the dates real close on any brand right now..
